Adi Kailash, also known as many names like Chhota Kailash, Little Kailash, Jonglingkong Peak and Baba Kailash. it is a mountain situated in the world famous Himalayan mountain Regard as Lord Shiva's oldest residential place and famous as Kailash Parvat. It has a religious importance in the Hindus. Ravana was the biggest devotee of Lord Shiva. Popularly known as Adi Kailash or Chota Kailash is a holy place where Ravana came from Lanka to pray to Lord Shiva.

This popular pilgrimage mountain situated in the Himalayan range, close to the Indo-Tibetan war, is like to Mount Kailash. During the journey, one gets the opportunity to view the flowers, snow peaks of thick forests and Annapurna. Gauri Kund (Lake) is located at the bottom of Mt. Kailash, which has the reflection and shine of water in the mountain. Gaurikund or Parvati Sarovar, also known as Mansarovar, it is nearby but not big as the original one.

Day 01: Delhi - Kathgodam (298 KM Via Train)

Travel for Kathgodam from Old Delhi railway station via Train at 277 Km average time requires to reach Kathgodam is 8 hrs and next day morning reach to Kathagodam. Overnight traveling.


Day 02: Arrival at Kathgodam - Kausani

The second day of the trip in Kathgodam you move to the hotel. You have a full day so you can either relax completely or go for sightseeing, overnight stay in the hotel.


Day 03: Kausani - Dharchula (199 kilometers)

After morning breakfast, you will start the journey to Darchula via road, a village situated on the banks of the mighty Kali River. Stay in the hotel for the night at Dharchula.


Day 04: Dharchula - Tawaghat (18.5 km by road) - Pangu (2249 mtr, 9 km trek)

The road traveling ends at 18.5 km. Trekking starts at Tawaghat. Crosses the Dhauliganga river with the help of bridge made up of wood. At tawaghat starts a vertical and curved climb up to hight of 1921 m at Thani – Dhar. A small tea shop where you also get piping hot tea and good drinking water is available here. Here a telescopic of Khela can be enjoyed. A journey takes us to the first halt that is a Bhotiya village, halt for an overnight stay at Pangu.


Day 05: Pangu - Sirkha (8 km trek, at an altitude of 2440 mts)

About 2 kilometers from Pangu begins the descent called Juyntigad. Here a vertical hight begins to the Sosa village, situated at an altitude of 2441 mtr. The climb continues until Tithaldhuraor Tihalakot is reached. We reach a camping site, Dharma Dvara where a bell dedicated to the goddess. From here, we move to Sirkha, this is a Bhotiya village with a few shops and a Panchayat Ghar. Stay in a night at Sirkha.


Day 06: Sirkha - Jipti (at an altitude of 2378 mtr, 16 km)

About 2 kms from Sirkha, the road goes down to Samre, here some shops are available. From starting of Samuri there is a vertical stony way through forests to Sumariya - Dhar or Rungling, located at a hight of 3048 mtr begins. There are some flags with mass of stones. From here move journey forest to Simkhola-gad (a stream). The trek goes to the villages of Galla, Bidakoti and Jipti is gentle, Night stays at Jipti.


Day 07: Jipti - Malpa (Hight 2018 mtr, 9 KM trek)

The adventures part of the journey starts from Jipti the entire trek to Garbyang. It's a vertical climb up to the River Kali's bank, which is few adventurous. Chhatta is a most challenging way moving near the sides of the Kali River. Next is a lovely Najang waterfall it is almost at height of hundred feet. The trek starts again at the Bola pass. The climbing towards Malpa may be exhausting.


Day 08: Malpa - Budhi (8 kms trek, at an altitude of 2740 mts)

The journey starts at Malpa and across through two magnificent waterfalls that look feels shower baths. This is a very slippery trek. On the way a place is situated called Lamare, here we take a cup of piping hot tea for refreshments. After another climb, the village Budhi can be seen from the top of a hill, Night stay at is at Budhi.


Day 09: Bundi - Gunji (at an altitude of 3,220 mtr, 20 km trek)

The vertical trek goes up to Chhiya Lake is 3 km long. The verdant grassland is full of greenery and the colorful flowers of an ancient temple. A big rock with a fetching bell is, on top point out to passersby to ring it. A Mountain Annapurna and surrounding attractive peaks view can be seen. The four-km journey to Garbyang (situated at a Hight of 3225 meters) follows. The village houses are a challenger to the leaning tower of Pisa. Many centuries ago this village built on a glacier. The journey moves along the banks of the Kali river. There are soaring trees that are a marvel to behold. A stream flowing in from Tinker converges with the Kali here. Night stay at Gunji.


Day 10: Gunji - Kutti (at an altitude of 3,600 meters, 19 kilometers trek)

The tour moves adjacent to the Kuti River from Gunji with covered peak with snow and the Bhojpatra forests for a company. The attractive view of the top of Apiand Nampha is right behind. Diagonally to the river is the Rongkong village. We reach Nabi, There is a spring hidden in the majestic mountains and Temple in this village. The snow fully covers River Kuti. The last village on the trek is Kutti. You can see remnants of the saltmines as well as the Pandava fort. The home of the Bhotia peoples is designed with drawing on both the doors and windows, Night Stay in Kutti.


Day 11: Kutti - Jolingkong (14 km trek, at an altitude of 4,572 meters)

After reaching at the Adi Kailash Tail, situated at hight of 6,191 mtr, this is the last point of the journey. The river Kutti may be covered with snow. So we can see snow-capped mountain ranges. On the other hand, there is one side is the attractive Mount Adi Kailash and just opposite is the Gaurikund (mukut) of Goddess Parvati. The river Gauri Kund is situated at the end point of Adi Kailash, whose waters reflects and shines the Adi Kailash Mountain. There is the famous Sarovar or Parvati Lake on the banks of which is a temple of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva, night stay at At Zolingkong.


Day 12: Jollingkong -Adi Kailash

We drive around 4 km to reach Jollingkong. Enjoy and savor the attractive an shiny moments of the journey before reaching the Adi Kailash, overnight stay at Zolingkong.


Day 13 to Day 22:

Jollingkong to Kutti –> Gunji –> Budhi –> Malpa – >Jipti – >Sirkha –>Pangu ->Tawaghat –> Dharchula -> Kausani

The Following Tour is followed to reach Kausani, Night Halt in the hotel.


Day 23: Kausani – Kathgodam - Delhi

After morning breakfast goes to Kathgodam train station and from catch a train in the night to Delhi, overnight train journey.


Day 24: Arrive Delhi

Return to Delhi by morning.
